Shortly after Bismarck Junior College was founded in 1939 the Bismarck College Corporation was created.  Â鶹ÊÓƵ Bismarck College Corporation served until 1978 as a vehicle for receiving gifted funds.

In the fall of 1978, through the leadership of BJC President Dr. Kermit Lidstrom and the board members of the Corporation, the Bismarck College Corporation was re-organized.  Â鶹ÊÓƵ new organization was named the Bismarck Junior College Development Foundation.  Â鶹ÊÓƵ total assets as of June 30, 1979, were $69,186.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ Foundation, which is now known as the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Foundation, has enjoyed tremendous growth.  Today, the Foundation's total assets have surpassed $70 million.

We are grateful for the many donors who support Â鶹ÊÓƵ and make everything we do possible.
