Engineering Technology, GIS and UAS Program Scholarships

Over $70,000 in BSC scholarships designated for Engineering Tech & GIS

Due to the high demand for manufacturing and energy industry employees, students enrolled in automation and energy programs at BSC are eligible to receive up to $5,000/academic per semester!

Every student should apply.

Scholarships are not limited to financial need, and part-time and full-time students are eligible.
 
Â鶹ÊÓƵ Priority Application deadline is Jan. 1.
 
All applications must include a transcript and ACT Score (if taken). Applications can be submitted until Sept.1. Applicants must be a citizen of the United States of America, national, refugee alien or permanent resident alien at the time of application.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ ND Society of Professional Land Surveyors supports BSC students pursuing a career in surveying. Â鶹ÊÓƵ amount of each award and total number of awards will be determined by the NDSPLS Education Assistance Program Committee.
 



Â鶹ÊÓƵ ASHE is a professional organization comprised of federal, state, county, city, and consulting personnel working together to develop local transportation systems. As an organization, their mission is “…to provide a forum for members and partners of the highway industry to promote a safe, efficient, and sustainable transportation system through education, innovation, and fellowship." Â鶹ÊÓƵ organization offers a $2,000 and a $1,000 scholarship yearly.



Â鶹ÊÓƵ Horatio Alger Association has established a $2,500 scholarship to provide assistance to students who have demonstrated integrity and determination in overcoming adversity. Eligible students must be in a CTE program, be 18-35 years old, a US citizen, and make $65,000 or less income.




Â鶹ÊÓƵ North Dakota Association of County Engineers (NDACE) awards three scholarships - two $2,000 scholarships and one $2,500 scholarship to college students in their second year or above who are attending any North Dakota institution and are majoring in any of the following programs: Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Survey Technology, or Construction Management Technology. Half-time students are eligible to apply.



Â鶹ÊÓƵ Associated General Contractors of North Dakota has $750 scholarships for high school seniors. Â鶹ÊÓƵse scholarships are for the 2024-2025 school year. Programs eligible include Electric Power Technology, Engineering Technology and Instrumentation and Control Technology.


NSF AIM (STEM) Scholarship


Â鶹ÊÓƵ AIM (Accomplish Innovate Motivate) S-Stem Scholarship is a grant provided by the National Science Foundation (NSF) to Â鶹ÊÓƵ (BSC). This grant allows BSC to provide scholarships to students who are seeking a degree in manufacturing or energy and who can demonstrate an unmet financial need.




Â鶹ÊÓƵ North Dakota Space Grant Consortium, a state-wide NASA-funded education and research grant, is awarding a scholarship this spring to STEM students at BSC. To qualify, students must have a 3.0+ GPA, be a
U.S. Citizen, and majoring in a STEM field, including energy and automation programs.
 
Students must register for a Submittable account to access the application (all NDSGC applications are through Submittable). This year’s application asks students to submit a letter of recommendation, a transcript, a resume, and an essay response to the following question: Describe both your academic and career goals. How will this scholarship help you achieve those goals?




For more than 40 years, the SME has been a leader in supporting the next generation of manufacturing and engineering talent. Â鶹ÊÓƵir scholarship program awards millions of dollars to hundreds of graduating high school seniors and current college students pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, or a related discipline. Scholarship applications are accepted annually from November 1 – February 1. By submitting one application, you will be considered for every scholarship for which you are eligible. Awards range from $2,500 – $20,000.
